Frequently Asked Questions

Everything independent diners ask before going live on breakfast.shop.

How much does breakfast.shop cost?

Free. No monthly subscription, no per-order commission, no revenue share. You need a CardPointe merchant account through us — card deposits settle directly to your bank, and we earn a small partner share of the standard CardPointe processing fee Fiserv already collects on card transactions. You pay the same card rate you'd pay any CardPointe merchant, with or without us.

Do I need my own merchant account?

Yes — and this is a feature, not a hassle. You open your own CardPointe merchant account, which means card deposits settle directly to your bank. You are not a sub-merchant on a platform wallet that could freeze or delay your money.

Does breakfast.shop handle delivery?

No — breakfast.shop is built for pre-order pickup. Delivery commissions eat a cold plate of eggs alive. Our model is commuter pre-order and counter pickup — the only economics that actually work for a $9 breakfast ticket.

How long does onboarding take?

Most independent diners are live within a few business days. The longest step is merchant account approval; loading your menu takes an afternoon.

Can customers pay at the counter instead?

Yes. Pre-orders can be paid online or marked for in-person payment. Counter service stays counter service.

Do I have to buy new hardware?

No. breakfast.shop runs in any modern browser. Optional CardPointe terminals are available if you want integrated card-present processing, but nothing is required beyond a tablet or phone.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can export your menu, customer list, and order history at any time. Your merchant account is yours — it doesn't move with the platform.

Who is behind breakfast.shop?

breakfast.shop is operated by Endpoint Systems LLC, an independent software company building commission-free ordering platforms across multiple restaurant verticals.
